It's The Most Bloated Time of The Year

Hello friends. It has been 12 months since my last confession... I mean, blog post. Speaking of Catholicism, Lent is fast approaching. What does this mean to me, exactly? Well, not much since I don't practice Catholicism anymore. However, lent gives me a good excuse to fight the fat. You see, it is around this time each year that I look in the mirror and cringe. All of the hibernating- that is, eating enough to bring on a food induced coma only to wake up and repeat the process- is not doing a body good. I feel disgusting. It is winter after all, and considering the fact that we live in Minnesota where spring is a skanky tease, we may be in for a rough couple of months before we hear birds outside. Starting Wednesday which marks the beggining of Lent, I will be giving up pop. It may seem like a small step, but it's a step in the right direction if I want to be ready for that bikini.

Wish me luck.

Good luck Al! I gave up caffeine 8 months ago and still can't give up soda altogether.

Oh come now, you still have a body that makes men tremble.
